Rob Glube joined JobStart’s Board of Directors in June 2015. He assumed the role of Board President on June 20, 2018. Rob was the Board Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee from June 21, 2017 to June 20, 2018. Rob is currently a Manager of Corporate Finance at the Globe and Mail where he works on strategic planning and monthly executive reporting. Prior to that he worked as a Commercial Finance and Business Intelligence Manager at Labatt Breweries of Canada LP where he managed the financial position and market analysis of the Mike's Beverage business unit. Rob also works on strategic initiatives to deliver top line growth and positive returns on investment. Rob graduated from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University with a major in accounting and a minor in finance, and has since obtained his Chartered Accountant designation.

Lauralea Mast joined JobStart’s Board of Directors in June 2013. She assumed the role of Board Vice President on April 1, 2017. Lauralea is a senior marketing professional with over 25 years of strategic media, advertising and research experience, Lauralea has successfully run her own company, Lauralea Mast Media, since 2005. She has served on several other nonprofit boards; as Board President for her son’s daycare and as a member of his high school Fund Raising Committee. She has also taught at Sheridan College to first year students. Lauralea is a mentor in the TRIEC Mentoring Partnership program delivered by JobStart and other member agencies, in partnership with Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC).
Rehan Sharif joined JobStart’s Board in January 2018. Rehan assumed the role of Board Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee on June 20, 2018. He currently works as a Commercial Account Manager at the Royal Bank of Canada and specializes in supporting Health Care sector companies. He works primarily with medical clinics, vet hospitals, and various mid market healthcare corporations to help them find industry-tailored financial solutions. In previous roles he has also managed the banking and & financing needs of Not-for-Profits, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain corporations. He is skilled in Portfolio Management, Budgeting, Commercial Lending, Credit Analysis, and Teamwork.

Rehan graduated in 2014 with an i.B.B.A degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Janet LeClair joined JobStart’s Board in June 2014. She currently serves as Chair of the Nominating Committee and Board Secretary. As a Senior HR Consultant Janet has broad expertise in human resources, finance and communications. With over 20 years’ experience working with biotech start-ups; researchers, clinicians, CEO's and boards of directors she has worked both in the private and public sector. Currently working as Head of HR for Northern Biologics Inc.; she continues to consult with Stratford Managers Corporation. Janet has previously served on two boards with BioTalent Canada for two consecutive 3-year terms and a year with the York Technology Association (now TechConnex). She has completed Altruvest’s Governance Leadership Program; is a graduate of Ryerson University’s Business Administration Program and the Rotman School of Management’s Advanced Program in Human Resources, University of Toronto. As a member of HRPA, she holds a Certified Human Resource Leader (CHRL) designation.

Janet became a mentor in the TRIEC Mentoring Partnership program, delivered by JobStart and other member agencies, in partnership with Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC), in 2016. The TRIEC Mentoring Partnership program is delivered in collaboration with community and corporate partners, and the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC).
Norman Woo joined JobStart’s Board in June 2010. He assumed the role of acting Treasurer and Co-Chair of the Finance Committee from October 2014 to June 2015. He is currently AVP, Corporate Development for Manulife Financial Corporation. Previously he was a Senior Manager in the Transaction and Restructuring Advisory practice of KPMG LLP where he provided valuations, corporate finance and financial reporting services to public and private companies, as well as the public sector. Norman graduated from the University of Waterloo, where he completed both an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics and a Master of Accounting. Norman is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada and a Certified Public Accountant in the U.S. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Business Valuator designations.
Karl Pelowich joined JobStart’s Board of Directors in April 2017. Karl has been with TD Bank Financial Group since 2013 and is currently Associate Vice President (AVP), Human Resources and the HR Program Lead for the bank’s Finance Innovation Transformation where he is responsible for developing and implementing the talent management framework. Previously, Karl was AVP, Human Resources for North American Phone Channel & ATM where he was responsible for the development and delivery of people strategies and led the HR elements of business planning and transformational programs for Contact Centre and Shared Services teams across North America. Prior to that Karl was AVP, Human Resources for Infrastructure Technology Solutions. Before joining TD, Karl was with BMO Financial Group where he held a variety of roles in Human Resources, Salesforce Effectiveness, Personal & Commercial Banking, Finance and the Contact Centre. Karl has a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a MBA from Dalhousie University.
Tosin Akinwekomi joined JobStart’s Board of Directors in April 2017. He is a problem-solver with experience in Financial Services and the Public Sector. Tosin has expertise in Strategic Planning, Transformation, Change Management and Risk. He is currently Director, Organizational Change Management at RBC, and previously held roles in Management Consulting, Internal Audit and Finance. From 2008 to 2016, Tosin led a team to raise $70k+ to provide educational assistance to underprivileged children in Nigeria. He is passionate about Youth development and is the Youth Program Lead at his local church where he focuses on academic, career success, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and interpersonal relationships for youth. Tosin leads fundraising for the church's annual youth scholarship.

Tosin holds a BCom from York University, an MBA and a Certificate in Responsible Leadership from Queen's University and is a CPA.
Ildiko Erdei joined JobStart’s Board in April 2017. She is a prosecutor for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada, currently focusing on drug prosecutions in the City of Toronto. Ildiko has previously acted as an immigration lawyer, also for the Government of Canada, specializing in refugee law, inadmissibility for criminality, and national security. She has an undergraduate and law degree from the University of Toronto, and a masters in law in international criminal law from the Irish Centre for Human Rights. Ildiko has travelled and lived abroad extensively, having worked previously for the United Nations and the Constitutional Court of South Africa. She has a passion for volunteerism, having volunteered for various organizations in Toronto and elsewhere.
Michelle Dodokin joined JobStart's Board in June 2017. She is a senior financial services executive with broad experience in strategy, operations, finance, communications and corporate social responsibility at leading Canadian financial services companies including Intact Financial Corporation and RSA Insurance. Michelle has a range of social interests including housing, education, employment, nutrition, and fitness. Michelle holds an MBA from Western University and is an alumna of the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University. Starting in September 2018, Michelle will also be supporting Western University Honours Business Administration (HBA) students as a student advisor on Ivey's capstone academic field projects.
Sindy Goodman joined JobStart’s Board of Directors in November 2017. She has worked in diverse union/non-union industries and has extensive HR experience (from start-up of new operations to mass termination/closure of operations and most things in between).

Sindy served as a member of the Executive Board (Vice President) of the West Toronto Chapter of HRPA for 2 terms and during that time was an active participant on the Website Content Committee and the lead on the revision of the Chapter By-Laws. Sindy graduated from the University of Toronto and holds a Certified Human Resources Leader designation (CHRL).
