Job Description
The job requires you to test our software and provide technical support to our installer/dealer base on our access control products daily including supporting them remotely, Phone or Chat. Responsibilities • Support installation, configuration and troubleshoot remotely our electronic security products including our software and associated hardware; • Set-up test systems in our labs to reproduce and troubleshoot technical issues faced by our clients in the field. • Understand and analyze client requests to identify the priority and impact; • Proactively build relationships with our installer/dealer network to help them with any issues they may face in the field. • Document interventions and update our internal systems; • Monitor, assess and troubleshoot critical alerts reported by our clients; • Offer support to installer’s Service Delivery teams; • Analyzing Cogito system logs and identifying potential issues with systems; • Performing routine audits of systems and software; • Applying system updates, patches, and configuration changes as per established procedures; Education and Experience Requirements • A University or College education related to Computer Science/Networking field required. • Experience with installing, configuring/programming electronic access control products such as door controllers, strikes, magnetic locks, biometric readers, etc. is an asset. • Computer networking knowledge is an asset. • Hardware & software troubleshooting skills. • Maintains quality customer service skills, a strong work ethic • Must possess above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem solving skills and display a willingness to learn. • Team oriented individual with demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and self-directed.
