Job Description We are looking for a Sales and Logistics Representative to join our team! For 6 weeks our team works closely to bring wild fiddleheads to the table. Candidate will be placed in Quebec and Toronto. This role is fun, fast-paced and different. Our organization services all major supermarkets, speciality grocers, wholesalers and natural food distributors. With your help we see the sales and logistics process through. Tasks include managing incoming sales orders, arranging logistics such as transportation, appointment bookings, and coordinating with operations at the facility. That being said, no day is the same! Must be able to work well in a very fast-paced environment and problem solve while providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and develop best practices to streamline some of our processes. Responsibilities ??Coordinate logistics and transportation needs in a busy and rapidly changing environment. ??Create appointments at destination and ensure transportation meets their allotted time. ??Process shipments, small parcel orders, documentation, and related information. ??Resolve problems concerning transportation, customer issues, imports/exports, late orders etc. ??Manage incoming sales orders and move the order process from beginning to close. Character & Abilities ??Ability to prioritize time-sensitive matters. ??Flexible with work and shifts to accommodate peak days. ??Team player who can work with minimal supervision. ??Problem solver with a solutions-oriented mindset. Job Location: Candidate will be placed in Sherbrooke Quebec for 4 weeks, other weeks are virtual Job Type : Full time for 6 weeks. Training will be slow, 10 hours a week for 3 weeks leading up to full time (May 3). Hours per week. 40 hours/week Employment ??Full Time for 6 weeks + 3 weeks training at 10 hours/week ??Training begins week of April 12 ??Full Time begins May 3 ??$18/hour ??These dates are an estimate as business is weather dependent.
