Welcome to Canada!

The Road to Success Starts Here.

Job Search Workshop (JSW) assists Permanent Residents who have not yet become Canadian Citizens, Convention Refugees, Line-in Caregivers and Landed Immigrants to make informed decisions about their settlement in Canada and find employment that is commensurate with their skills and education.  We do this by providing one-on-one assessments, individualized action plans for success in Canada, connections to community organizations and resources to assist with settlement and employment needs, and pre-employment workshops in a fully computerized environment.

WE OFFER:
  • One on one assessment with a job coach to determine next steps
  • Individualized action plan for success in Canada
  • Resources to assist you in your employment and settlement needs
  • Life skills and pre-employment workshops on effective job search skills and Canadian employer expectations
  • Access to a fully computerized environment
